DBC Consultants acted as the construction manager and as the technical client for the installation of process equipment during the construction of the VOLVO construction equipment plant.
Kaluga excavator plant became the 7th Volvo excavator assembly company in the world. The production capacity is two thousand units of earthmoving equipment per year.
The plant is located on the territory of the Kaluga industrial park next to the truck manufacturing plant that Volvo opened in 2009.
The plant was officially opened in May 2013 in the presence of the Governor of the Kaluga Region.
The plant was built using innovative technologies aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions. It is the sixteenth Volvo CE manufacturing facility in the world and the seventh excavator factory.
The plant has installed a production line with a planned capacity of 2000 machines per year.
The work of "DBC Consultants" on the project is completed.
