DBC Consultants acted as the Project Manager for the renovation of one of the most famous hotels in Russia, belonging to Orient-Express.

After renovation, the new Azia restaurant opened. The concept and design of the restaurant was developed by the famous Japanese architectural and design bureau Super Potato, which portfolio includes London restaurants Zuma and Roka, restaurants of the Grand Hyatt Singapore hotel and Sensi restaurant of Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas.

Renovation also affected the “presidential wing” of the hotel: from 19 rooms of the historical floor in the south wing, 6 grand presidential apartments with dining rooms, a billiard room, a separate Turkish steam room and a gym were created. The author of the project in the spirit of the Russian avant-garde was the American company Tihany Design, which completed projects such as The One & Only Cape Town Resort, Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas and The Westin Chosun in Seoul.

The project also provided for the restoration of the facades of the hotel building.
